My name is Se Mer and I am currently majoring in Visual studies and art history. I’m from Louisville, Kentucky but I was born in Mae La refugee camp on the borders of Thailand. 
My family migrated again in late 2007 to the US. When I first got here I was blown away by the city and the skyscrapers.  My work primarily focuses on the combination of personal history and my interest in traditional and modern architecture or landscape, like the materials and complexity of how certain things look. My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret my ideas and thought process.
